Job summary

Five Star Technology Solutions is seeking a versatile technician to provide on-site and remote software support within Indiana. The role blends scheduled onsite visits with remote ticket resolution, requiring comfort in fieldwork and desk work.

You’ll perform imaging, installations, and data tasks while ensuring timely issue resolution with school staff and district personnel. The position reports to the Head of Onsite Services and the Product Support Manager.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Experience with data files from Microsoft Excel (including CSV) and Google Apps.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation within a two-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I onsite technical support during scheduled visits and on-call dispatches.
• Coordinate visit windows and expected response times with Head of Onsite Services.
• Perform imaging, software installations, inventory, and maintenance during site visits.
• Support Five Star's software platforms via ticketing system, phone, and email.
• Log detailed notes in the ticketing system and escalate when needed.
