Job summary

Discovery Education is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to connect with K–12 school leaders and introduce our platform. This hybrid role in Charlotte, NC offers training and a clear path into EdTech sales.

You will manage inbound or outbound outreach, qualify leads, schedule meetings for Partnership Managers, and collaborate with marketing to refine outreach strategies while staying current on K–12 trends.

Qualifications

• Experience with K–12 sector preferred.
• Familiarity with the education buying cycle.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• CRM or sales engagement tools experience (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned inbound leads or conduct outbound outreach to K–12 administrators, educators, and district leaders via email, phone, and social media
• Educate prospects on how our tools support teachers and improve student learning
• Qualify inbound leads or outbound prospects and schedule meetings for Account Executives
• Track activity in CRM and collaborate with marketing on outreach strategy
• Stay up to date on K–12 trends and challenges
