Discovery Education is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to connect with K–12 school leaders and introduce our platform. This hybrid role in Charlotte, NC offers training and a clear path into EdTech sales.
You will manage inbound or outbound outreach, qualify leads, schedule meetings for Partnership Managers, and collaborate with marketing to refine outreach strategies while staying current on K–12 trends.
We are looking for a highly skilled Business Development Representative(BDR) focused on K–12to support our sales and outreach initiatives. As a key point of contact between school leaders and our platform, you will engage prospective customers through either inbound or outbound channels, introduce our solutions to schools and districts, identify decision-makers, and set up qualified meetings for our Partnership Managers. Depending on business needs and team assignments, BDRs may focus on inbound lead management or outbound prospecting efforts. This role is high visibility, collaborates frequently with cross-functional teams, and is client-facing. It is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone looking to break into EdTech sales, with the training and support to build a strong foundation in education-focused business development.
This role is designed to be hybrid in Charlotte, NC.
The hiring range for this position is between $24.00 - $26.18 an hour, however, hourly pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a Variable Target.
