Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an experienced Superintendent to plan, manage, and execute projects with moderate complexity. You will lead safety initiatives, supervise teams, plan sequencing, and drive on‑time, profitable project completion in line with JE Dunn’s vision and values.

You will coordinate with owners, designers and trade contractors, manage budgets, schedules, and QA/QC, and ensure compliance across the project lifecycle, while fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff to ensure an injury‑free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and coordinates overall job/workflow.
• Oversees project staff, materials, and equipment while tracking budget and costs.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self‑performed work.
• Coordinates project site activities and maintains logs, drawings and daily reports.
• Leads meetings and participates in progress reviews and project closeout activities.
• Ensures quality compliance through specifications, QA/QC, and external resources.
