Job summary

Tetra Tech is hiring an Entry-Level Structural Engineer I to join our High-Performance Building division. You’ll develop technical expertise while supporting structural projects across building types and sectors, working with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams on analysis, design, modeling, and documentation.

The role provides hands-on experience in steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation systems, with learning in Revit, design software, and applicable codes.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil or Architectural Engineering degree with emphasis in structural engineering.
• 0+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience applying fundamental structural engineering principles (analysis & design).
• Familiarity with Revit (academic, internship, or professional).

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise structural Revit models, drawings and details for steel, concrete, masonry, and foundations.
• Perform basic structural analysis and design calculations under guidance of senior engineers.
• Maintain structural analysis models using software such as RISA-3D and Enercalc.
• Incorporate markups and changes into models, drawings and calculations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve structural conflicts.
