Job summary
Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our High Performance Building team. This full-time role is remote and/or hybrid-friendly and can be performed from many locations across the United States.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of structural engineering experience, a PE license, and deep knowledge of seismic design, steel and concrete systems, and Revit/RISA tools. You will lead design efforts, review calculations, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across disciplines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited college.
- PE license required.
- Experience with seismic analysis and design of buildings.
- Proficiency with structural codes: IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360/341.
Responsibilities
- Manage design and analysis of building projects.
- Lead structural design for new, renovations, and modifications.
- Develop steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation systems.
- Perform and review calculations, drawings, specs, and reports.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
