Job summary
Tetra Tech’s High Performance Building division is seeking a full-time Senior Structural Engineer. The candidate will lead design and analysis for diverse building projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure conformance with IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, UFC, and related codes.
Remote or hybrid work options are available nationwide. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of structural experience, PE licensure, and proficiency with Revit, RISA, and SAP2000, along with strong communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
- 10+ years of structural engineering experience on building/facility projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Responsibilities
- Manage structural design and analysis for building projects.
- Lead design for new construction, renovations, and modifications.
- Develop structural systems for steel, concrete, masonry, and foundations.
- Perform structural analyses including gravity, wind, and seismic design.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical oversight.
- Prepare calculations, drawings, specs, and reports.
