Job summary

Tetra Tech's High Performance Building division seeks a full-time Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. You will lead design on diverse projects across steel, concrete and masonry, collaborating with architects and other engineers.

This role supports remote, hybrid, or in-office work within the United States, requires a PE license and 10+ years of experience, and involves occasional client sites travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience with building and facility design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with seismic design and analysis of buildings.
• Proficient with RISA 3D or SAP2000; Revit modeling.
• Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360/341, UFC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee structural design and analysis of building projects.
• Lead design for new construction, renovations, and additions.
• Develop structural systems for steel, concrete, masonry.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specs, and reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage junior engineers.
• Perform site visits and ensure design compliance.
