Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer I to join the Structural Engineering team. This full-time role offers remote and hybrid options across the U.S., with hands-on exposure to steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation systems.

You will work with senior engineers on analysis, design, modeling, and documentation, gaining proficiency in Revit and common design software while expanding knowledge of building codes and standards.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in civil or architectural engineering with structural emphasis.
• No required years of experience; open to entry-level engineers.
• Ability to apply fundamental structural engineering principles.
• Familiarity with Revit via coursework or internships.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing Revit models, drawings, and details for structural systems.
• Perform basic structural analysis and design calculations under guidance.
• Develop and maintain structural analysis models using RISA-3D and Enercalc.
• Integrate markups and revisions into models and documents.
• Support coordination with architectural and MEP teams.
• Assist field investigations and prepare design narratives and docs.
