Job summary

Rochester Institute of Technology on-campus dining is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join a diverse culinary team. You will assist in preparing hot and cold foods, ensuring quality and safety, and supporting menu execution under culinary leadership.

This role offers an on-campus work location with a Fri–Mon schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The position includes comprehensive benefits, tuition assistance, and career development within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree/Certification in Culinary Arts and 2 years of related experience.
  • Ability to follow health codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Washes produce, cuts ingredients, and prepares hot and cold foods.
  • Ensures all food is of satisfactory quality and stored at proper temperatures.
