Job summary

SECU is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative to learn branch operations and deliver exemplary member service by responding to inquiries by phone and in person, including cash box management and account origination.

You will balance drawers, process transactions, handle drive-through duties, wire transfers, and support other departments while maintaining confidentiality and following security procedures. Regular attendance and ongoing training are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree or CCUE Certification is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence, respect, and trust in the Credit Union.
• Must have good problem-solving skills.
• Must complete the Credit Union Core Module Program within 12 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in person, by phone, and through digital channels with courteous professionalism.
• Process transactions and balance cash drawers according to standards.
• Operate drive-through window and balance vault, ATMs, and cash dispensers as needed.
• Handle wire transfers and currency exchanges for members.
• Maintain and organize daily records and paperwork; assist other departments as required.
