Job summary

SECU is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Officer to learn branch operations, provide exemplary member service, and support cash handling, account maintenance, and basic lending activities. The role includes training in lending and collections and collaboration with other departments to fulfill member requests.

Ideal candidates will be proactive, dependable, and able to communicate effectively with members in person and over the phone, while adhering to policy and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn lending and collections as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Respond to member inquiries by telephone and in person, including cash box management and account maintenance.
• Greet and assist members in a courteous, professional manner across service channels.
• Process wire transfers, foreign currency handling, and notary services as requested.
• Assist with opening basic accounts and learn about financial advisory products.
