Job summary

SECU seeks an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative to learn branch operations and provide exemplary member service. You will respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and digitally, process transactions, balance cash, and support basic account openings under supervision.

Ideal candidates communicate well, solve problems, and demonstrate SECU’s core values. Training is provided; frequent attendance is expected in a collaborative branch environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or CCUE/NC-CTP preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to handle cash, process transactions, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by responding to inquiries in person, by phone, and online.
• Process transactions and balance a cash drawer in line with standards.
• Assist with opening basic accounts under supervision.
• Handle wire transfers and currency exchanges as needed.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of member information and adhere to procedures.
• Attend trainings and maintain daily records as required.
