Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative to support branch operations and deliver exceptional member service. You will respond to inquiries by phone and in person, process transactions, assist with account openings and maintenance, and help maintain cash controls under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree or CCUE Certification or AA/AS via NC-CTP preferred
• Must possess strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Core Module Program completion within 12 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by responding to inquiries by phone and in person
• Process branch transactions and balance cash drawer
• Assist with account origination and maintenance
• Handle wire transfers and foreign currency exchanges
• Follow security, confidentiality, and policy requirements
• Greet members and assist via all service channels (in-person, phone, digital)
• Balance vaults, ATMs, and related cash handling equipment
• Maintain records and assist with administrative tasks as needed
