Job summary

SECU is hiring an entry-level Associate Member Services Officer to support our branch operations and deliver exemplary member service. You will respond to inquiries in person and by telephone, perform cash-handling tasks, and begin training in lending and collections.

You will also learn CXone, MIP procedures, and SECU products such as insurance, retirement planning, investments, and mortgages. Through ongoing training and daily responsibilities, you will contribute to a collaborative team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred (Bachelor's, CCUE, or AA/AS via NC-CTP).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on member service.
• Willingness to learn lending, collections, and branch procedures through formal training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in person and via phone/digital channels with courtesy and professionalism.
• Handle routine branch duties including cash drawer balancing, transfers, and basic account maintenance.
• Assist with notary services, wire transfers, and coordination with other departments to fulfill member requests.
