Job summary

Topaz HR is seeking a Level 1 IT Support Engineer to join its MSP team in New Jersey. This entry-level role supports clients with tech, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and general IT tasks. A customer-focused mindset and eagerness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

1-3+ years of IT support or help desk experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals.
Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems
Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365, printer, and connectivity issues
Set up and deploy desktops, laptops, and user accounts
Document, update, and manage support tickets
Escalate complex issues to senior technicians when necessary
Maintain accurate client and support documentation
Deliver exceptional customer service and timely issue resolution
