Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an entry-level Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to work on state-of-the-art industrial facilities. You will develop P&IDs, specify instrumentation, design PLC-based systems, and program PLC/SCADA while on-site during startup.

This role offers mentorship, collaborative multi-disciplinary teams, and opportunities to grow technical expertise in a global engineering leader. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, know AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• AutoCAD or Revit software experience.
• Strong communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Knowledge of PFDs and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Develop P&IDs and specify process instrumentation and valves.
• Design PLC-based control systems and networking for control systems.
• Program PLCs and SCADA systems and support on-site startup.
• Coordinate work with staff and discipline lead in multi-disciplinary teams.
