Jacobs in the United States is seeking an Entry-Level Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our team. You'll develop control systems for state-of-the-art facilities, create P&IDs, specify instrumentation and valves, and design PLC-based networks while benefiting from mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit software is required.
• Strong communication and analytical/problem-solving skills are essential.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship is required.
• Knowledge of PFDs and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design control systems for various processes.
• Create P&IDs, specify instrumentation and valves.
• Design PLC-based systems and networked control systems.
• Program PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Provide on-site startup support and coordinate with staff and discipline leads.
• Collaborate across multi-discipline teams to deliver designs.
