Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Entry-Level Instrumentation and Controls Engineer in the United States, with a focus on developing P&IDs, instrument specifications, PLC-based designs, and SCADA programming. You will work on multiple projects and receive mentorship to grow in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in engineering and knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit software.
• Strong communication skills and analytical/problem-solving ability.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop P&IDs and specify process instrumentation and valves.
• Design PLC-based control systems and network for control systems.
• Program PLCs and SCADA systems, and support on-site startup activities.
• Coordinate work with staff and discipline lead to ensure schedule and quality.
