Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking an Entry-Level Field Service Engineer to launch a long-term career with the company. Recent Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering graduates will receive hands-on, on-the-job training and mentorship while supporting real-world energy and telecom systems at customer sites.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, follow structured training plans, and gain exposure to UPS and HVAC systems that support critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Associate, Technical, or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, UPS, or related technical field (Military technical experience also considered)
• Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical concepts (voltage, current, airflow, pressure, etc.)
• Strong willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repair of UPS or HVAC systems
• Participate in structured training programs focused on safety, diagnostics, and equipment operation
• Provide on-site and remote technical support under supervision
• Support testing and inspection of systems to ensure performance and compliance
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time
• Follow Delta’s safety and quality standards at all customer sites
• Travel regionally (and occasionally nationwide) for field assignments
