Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking an Entry-Level Field Service Engineer to launch a long-term career. You will receive hands-on, on-the-job training while supporting UPS and HVAC systems at customer sites.

You’ll work with experienced engineers, participate in safety-focused training, and build hands-on troubleshooting and customer-facing skills. Delta offers career progression paths, succession planning, and retention bonuses to support growth within energy and telecom tech.

Qualifications

• Associate, Technical, or bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering, HVAC, UPS, or related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical concepts.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repair of UPS or HVAC systems.
• Participate in structured training programs focused on safety, diagnostics, and equipment operation.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support under supervision.
• Support testing and inspection of systems to ensure performance and compliance.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow Delta's safety and quality standards at all customer sites.
• Travel regionally (and occasionally nationwide) for field assignments.
