Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking an entry-level Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and service UPS and HVAC systems at customer sites. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship while building essential troubleshooting and customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Associate, technical, or bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering, HVAC, UPS, or related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical concepts (voltage, current, airflow, pressure).
• Strong willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repair of UPS or HVAC systems.
• Participate in structured training programs focused on safety, diagnostics, and equipment operation.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support under supervision.
• Support testing and inspection of systems to ensure performance and compliance.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow Delta’s safety and quality standards at all customer sites.
• Travel regionally (and occasionally nationwide) for field assignments.
