Job summary

Rivian is seeking a junior to mid-level Technician to grow under senior mentorship. The role centers on EV repairs, inspections, and field service support, with responsibilities spanning service centers, mobile routes, and plant operations as needed.

The ideal candidate will communicate effectively, adapt to fast-paced settings, and show a passion for innovation and adventure. Based primarily at a local service center, occasional remote work and travel may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or recognized equivalency preferred.
• 0–3 years hands‑on experience in an automotive shop or technical environment.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks or startup environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under senior technicians.
• Follow repair procedures and safety guidelines while maintaining quality.
• Perform road tests post-repair to verify quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations, inventory, and work orders.
