Job summary

Rivian is seeking a junior to mid-level Technician to grow technical skills while delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will work under seasoned technicians to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service.

The role blends service-center work with potential remote assignments, travel, and plant support as needs evolve. The ideal candidate is communicative, adaptable, and passionate about innovation and adventure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a non-commercial truck and trailer is preferred.
• Availability for a standard 40-hour workweek, including potential shifts on weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings, or overnights.
• Proficient with laptops/computers in Windows or Mac environments, as well as work order management systems.
• Eagerness to learn, strong organizational skills, time management, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at a service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Learn EV framework and tools under the mentorship of senior technicians.
• Follow repair procedures and safety guidelines to maintain quality.
• Conduct road tests after repairs to verify quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations: ordering, receiving, inventory tracking, and expense reporting.
• Maintain detailed repair documentation for internal and external use.
