Job summary

Rivian is seeking a junior to mid-level Technician to grow technically while delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will work under mentorship to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service.

The role may involve remote work, travel for mobile service, or supporting plant operations as needed. Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills, eagerness to learn, and a passion for innovation and adventure in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited automotive repair school/program is highly preferred.
• 0-3 years of hands-on experience in an automotive shop or technical environment.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks or startup environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections across service center, mobile route, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under senior mentors.
• Adhere to procedures and safety while performing repairs and documenting work.
• Road tests post-repair to verify quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations including ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Maintain detailed notes and documentation of repairs for internal/external use.
• Interact professionally with customers, families, and partners at facilities or events.
• Suggest process improvements and participate in campaigns and training.
