Rivian Automotive is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations. You will grow under mentorship from senior technicians, delivering exceptional customer experiences while working at a local service center with potential remote or mobile assignments.

The role emphasizes learning, strong communication, and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or recognized equivalency preferred.
• 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a non-commercial truck and trailer is preferred.
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
• Proficient with laptops/computers in Windows or Mac environments, as well as work order management systems.
• Eagerness to learn, strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under senior technicians.
• Follow repair procedures safely and efficiently.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory tracking, and expense reporting.
• Maintain detailed technical notes and documentation for repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers, families, third-party affiliates, and suppliers at facilities or events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in campaigns or containment initiatives.
• Engage in required training and stay current on evolving technical skills.
