Job summary

Rivian is seeking a junior technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations. You will work under mentorship with senior technicians and adapt to a fast-paced environment at a local service center, with potential remote work or travel for mobile service.

The role emphasizes learning the EV framework, maintaining safety, and delivering quality workmanship while growing your technical acumen and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum age 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive experience, open to recent graduates.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentor guidance.
• Follow repair procedures and safety standards without compromising quality.
• Conduct road tests post-repair to verify quality and safety.
• Assist with day-to-day parts operations including ordering and inventory.
• Maintain detailed technical notes and documentation for repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers, families, and suppliers.
• Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns.
• Engage in required training and develop technical skills with supervision.
