Job summary
D2 Technical Services is seeking a Junior Cloud Operations and Customer Support Engineer to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA. You will join our CORE team, maintain cloud infrastructure, and deliver high-quality, cost-effective cloud solutions while focusing on operational excellence and customer service.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s in IT or related field and 2+ years in IT with cloud operations and customer support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in IT with emphasis on cloud operations and customer support.
- Proficiency with AWS cloud services and Linux environments.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and maintain cloud infrastructure for high availability.
- Respond to and resolve customer issues with strong technical support.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support enterprise cloud usage.
- Monitor applications for performance and availability issues.
- Evaluate infrastructure for scalability and optimization opportunities.
- Document support procedures and update runbooks.
