Job summary

Bohler's Miami, FL office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real land development projects. You will work with engineers, designers, and project managers on site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

You'll gain hands-on experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D, participate in mentorship, and develop through Bohler’s Learning & Development programs while supporting regulatory reviews and project submittals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 0–1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred; training provided if not yet proficient)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
• Motivation to take initiative and contribute to shared goals
• EIT certification is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of land development projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed‑use sites
• Partner with experienced engineers and mentors to learn every stage of site design, from concept through construction
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs
• Research and interpret design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations
• Review and address regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed
• Support the preparation of stormwater management reports and construction submittals
• Attend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with project teams
• Engage in civic, professional, and business organizations to build your network
