Job summary

Bohler is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) to grow through real projects and hands-on mentorship in our Wilmington, DE office. You will contribute to site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater work across commercial, residential, and mixed-use markets, with a focus on learning every stage from concept to construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0–1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D; training provided if not yet proficient.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Learn every stage of site design from concept through construction with mentorship.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts and grading plans.
• Research design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Review regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed.
• Support preparation of stormwater management reports and construction submittals.
• Attend site visits and coordinate with project teams.
