Job summary

Bohler's Pittsburgh, PA office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who will work with engineers, designers, and project managers on site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management. You’ll contribute to projects for commercial, residential, and mixed-use markets and lay the groundwork for a rewarding engineering career.

You'll gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, learn design standards, and participate in Bohler’s Learning & Development programs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 0–1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not yet proficient).
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use sites.
• Partner with experienced engineers and mentors to learn site design from concept through construction.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs.
• Research and interpret design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Review regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed.
