Job summary

Bohler's Tampa, FL office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact. You will work with engineers, designers, and project managers to bring land development projects to life, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

You will contribute to projects for well-known brands across commercial, residential, and mixed-use markets while laying the groundwork for a rewarding engineering career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0-1+ years of site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not proficient).
• Strong communication skills and collaborative teamwork.
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Learn from experienced engineers and mentors through all project stages from concept to construction.
• Create site layouts and grading plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Assist with regulatory comments and project redesigns as needed.
• Support preparation of stormwater management reports and submittals.
• Participate in Bohler’s Learning & Development programs.
• Attend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with project teams.
• Engage in professional and business organizations to build your network.
