Job summary

SRF Consulting Group, Inc. seeks an Entry Level Civil Drainage Engineer to join our Civil Drainage Group across our Minneapolis, MN; St. Paul, MN; or Fargo, ND offices.

You will engage in a broad mix of urban design, highway and multimodal project work for diverse clients, while contributing to team efforts and learning on the job. The role requires a civil engineering degree, FE exam progress (or soon), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school.
• Successful completion of the FE exam or ability to take the FE exam within six months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Related internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations, cost estimates and plan production.
• Occasional field walks and onsite construction observations with local travel.
• Roadway drainage system layout and design, including storm sewer and culvert design.
• Design BMPs such as wet ponds, infiltration basins and filtration ditches.
• Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling.
• Engage in a collaborative design team within SRF and uphold quality standards.
