We hire civil engineers who can perform design calculations, hydrology analyses, and BMP designs for roadway projects, with opportunities to advance through FE exam progress and professional development programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school.
• Successful completion of the FE exam or ability to take the FE exam within six months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Related internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design calculations, cost estimates and plan production.
• Occasional field walks and onsite construction observations may require local travel.
• Roadway drainage system layout and design, including storm sewer and culvert design.
• Design of BMPs such as wet ponds, infiltration basins, filtration ditches.
• Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling.
• Design of erosion control and sediment management BMPs.
• Stormwater permitting.
• Be an active participant on a collaborative design team with other groups/disciplines within SRF.
• Exhibit quality day-to-day work in line with SRF’s quality management plan.
• Additional duties as assigned.
