Job summary

SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking an entry level Urban Mobility Civil Design Engineer to join our Minneapolis, MN or St. Paul, MN office. You will contribute to civil design for pedestrian, bicycle, and transit-focused projects and support a collaborative design team on diverse assignments.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, is preparing for or has passed the FE exam within six months, and is eager to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley 3D tools while pursuing licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and FE exam within six months.
• Related internship experience preferred for grads.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley 3D design tools is a plus.
• Desire to pursue professional licensure.
• Interest in designing inclusive urban mobility solutions balancing pedestrians, cyclists, vehicles and transit.

Responsibilities

• Assist the design team in producing quality products for our clients.
• Learn new skills and software required for typical project requirements.
• Collaborate with SRF design teams across disciplines.
• Adhere to SRF quality management plan.
• Perform design calculations, cost estimates, plan production, and field observations; travel.
• Additional duties as assigned.
