Job summary

SRF Consulting Group, Inc. seeks an entry level engineer for the Water Resources team in the Minneapolis/St. Paul or Madison area.

You will support design and modeling of drainage, BMPs, and sustainable stormwater systems for public and private clients. The role requires a civil or biosystems engineering background with hydrology focus, EIT eligibility within six months, and familiarity with hydrologic/hydraulic tools such as SWMM, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or biosystems engineering with a hydrology or water resources emphasis, or a related field.
• EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Previous experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling applications (e.g. SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD), Microstation/Geopak, and/or AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Roadway drainage system layout and design, including new and retrofit systems and design of Best Management Practices (BMPs).
• Site design, including BMP design, modeling, and Low Impact Development (LID) practices.
• Design of stormwater reuse systems, green infrastructure, and other sustainable stormwater management systems.
