Job summary

SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Water Resources Engineer to join our Minneapolis, MN; St. Paul, MN; or Madison, WI teams.

You will work on water resource projects for federal, state, and local clients, applying design, engineering, and modeling tools in a collaborative environment. The role requires a bachelor's degree in civil or biosystems engineering with a hydrology or water resources emphasis, EIT eligibility within 6 months, and experience with hydrologic/hydraulic

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or biosystems engineering with hydrology or water resources emphasis (or related field).
EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling applications (e.g., SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD), Microstation/Geopak, and/or AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

Roadway drainage system layout and design, including BMPs.
Site design including BMP design, modeling, and Low Impact Development practices.
Design of stormwater reuse systems, green infrastructure, and other sustainable stormwater management systems.
Surface water management planning, feasibility studies, and assessments.
Hydrologic and Hydraulic modeling.
Hydraulic analysis for bridges, culverts, channels, and revetments.
Bioengineering design for surface water conveyance and wetland restoration.
