Jacobs is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to design building mechanical systems including HVAC and piping for buildings and facilities, with a focus on data centers. You will conduct field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, size and select equipment, and prepare construction design packages under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping, for buildings and facilities.
• Ability to obtain EIT within 6 months or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Perform field investigations and interface with clients & vendors.
• Size and select equipment and prepare construction design packages.
• Develop design criteria, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs) and P&IDs.
• Provide system design calculations and coordinate with other trades.
• Progress tasks under Professional Engineers and meet schedule/quality goals.
