Job summary

Jacobs in the United States seeks an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join the Advanced Facilities Data Centers team, focusing on building mechanical systems, HVAC and piping. You will apply your theoretical knowledge to field investigations, equipment sizing, and construction design packages.

You’ll develop design criteria, AFDS and P&IDs, and coordinate with other trades under guidance, progressing from basic to more complex projects while delivering quality results.

Qualifications

• Desire to design building mechanical systems including HVAC and piping.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD for preliminary and detailed design.
• Mentorable candidate with ability to apply theory to field investigations.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), and P&IDs.
• Size and select equipment and prepare construction design packages.
• Coordinate with architectural and other engineering disciplines under supervision.
• Ensure timely and technically accurate delivery on multi-discipline projects.
