Job description

Position Overview

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Junior Account Executive to join our wholesale sales team in New York. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow within a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment and will play a key role in supporting and expanding our retail partnerships. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing select accounts independently, contributing to new business development, supporting market preparations, and working closely with cross-functional teams to help execute seasonal strategies and achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a portfolio of wholesale accounts, ensuring strong relationships and consistent follow-up
  • Assist in outreach and prospecting efforts to drive new business opportunities in the Specialty space
  • Prepare for market appointments and tradeshows, including the creation of line sheets, order forms, and sales tools
  • Coordinate with internal teams to monitor order status, inventory levels, and shipping timelines
  • Help plan and execute showroom merchandising, visual displays, and appointment scheduling during market weeks
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales reports, order tracking, and client records
  • Manage the full lifecycle of fashion samples, including receiving, cataloging, organizing, tracking, and coordinating sample movement across departments to support design, merchandising, marketing, and the sales team
  • Communicate effectively with buyers, production, and logistics to ensure smooth order fulfillment
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and key market developments

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in fashion wholesale, showroom sales, or sales support
  • Demonstrated ability to manage responsibilities independently with a high level of professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with JOOR, NuORDER, or similar platforms preferred
  • Evening, Bridal, and / or occasion experience is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a passion for the fashion industry
