PURPLE is actively seeking a bright and enthusiastic Junior Account Executive to join its Fashion division in the agency’s New York office, working across high-profile Fashion clients.

Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 / year

Role Description

The Junior Account Executive will support the development and execution of integrated communication campaigns for Luxury Fashion clients, focusing on maximizing brand exposure through various communication strategies, including traditional and new media, as well as brand partnerships.

The ideal candidate should have a genuine passion for managing communications for high-profile fashion clients, demonstrating initiative, excellent client liaison skills, strong written communication, creativity, organization, and a solid understanding of PR, branding, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client contact and updates.
• Support account teams in executing PR campaigns from conception to completion.
• Coordinate and manage fashion samples.
• Prepare accurate coverage reports.
• Generate creative ideas and publicity strategies to enhance campaigns.
• Maintain relationships with key press contacts.
• Act as a brand ambassador for clients.
• Analyze media coverage and leverage PR activities.
• Conduct research to support client plans and new business proposals.
• Supervise and support interns.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• 1-2 years of relevant experience, including internships, at a mid-sized PR agency within luxury fashion.
• Knowledge of press report organization and media relations.
• Proactive approach to identifying communication opportunities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Discreet, professional, and articulate with excellent communication skills.
• Highly organized, methodical, and proactive.
• Strong writing skills.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Launchmetrics.
