Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a highly motivated Capture Manager to lead capture initiatives across opportunities, coordinating with regional teams and stakeholders. You will drive plans, schedules, and winning strategies to maximize probability of success.

In this role, you will shape win themes, build cross-functional teams, engage customers and government partners, and guide the proposal process to deliver competitive, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• MBA or PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of five years of project management and/or business capture experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in developing, organizing, and executing capture activities.
• Familiarity with U.S. Government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all capture functions for assigned opportunities and serve as the Capture Manager for the win.
• Develop and maintain capture plans, schedules, and action items.
• Form and lead cross-functional capture teams and oversee gate reviews.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret customer, market, and competitive intelligence.
• Lead solution development with BD, operations, technical, pricing, and finance teams.
• Support staffing strategies and develop pricing strategies for compliant proposals.
• Lead customer engagement and targeted marketing to strengthen opportunity positioning.
• Manage proposal preparation activities and review management.
• Facilitate color team reviews and address actions.
