Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a highly motivated Capture Manager to drive capture initiatives across Japan. You will identify and pursue business opportunities, prepare capture materials, and coordinate with regional teams to ensure organized, accurate efforts aligned with strategic objectives.

You will lead capture plans, form cross-functional teams, analyze intelligence, and develop differentiated win strategies while building strong customer and stakeholder relationships to win

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of five years of project management or capture experience.
• Experience developing capture activities and customer engagement strategies.
• Familiarity with USG contracting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all capture functions for assigned opportunities and serve as the Capture Manager for the overall win.
• Develop capture plans, schedules, and action items to keep opportunities on track.
• Form and lead cross-functional capture teams and oversee gate reviews.
• Analyze customer, market, and competitive intelligence to inform strategies.
• Develop win themes and differentiated value propositions.
• Build relationships with customers, government stakeholders, and partners.
• Lead solution development with BD, operations, pricing, and finance teams.
• Support staffing strategies and key personnel identification.
• Develop pricing strategies and ensure compliant proposals.
• Lead customer engagement and targeted marketing for opportunities.
• Manage proposal preparation and review processes.
• Facilitate reviews and address action items.
• Perform other BD and growth support activities as assigned.
