Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a Capture Manager to lead and coordinate capture efforts for opportunities, including plans, teams, and customer engagement. The role requires five+ years in capture or PM, familiarity with USG contracting, and strong leadership to drive win probability.

JP-related language skills are a plus and PMP/MBA preferred. Based in a dynamic BD environment, you will interface with operations, pricing, and finance to develop differentiated proposals and win strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Five+ years of project management and/or business capture experience.
• Familiarity with U.S. Government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all capture functions for assigned opportunities and serve as the Capture Manager responsible for the overall win.
• Develop and maintain capture plans, schedules, and action items to keep opportunities on track.
• Form and lead cross-functional capture teams, conduct kickoff meetings, secure stakeholder buy-in, and oversee capture gate reviews.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret customer, market, and competitive intelligence to inform capture strategies and win probability.
• Conduct SWOT analyses and develop differentiated win themes and customer-focused value propositions.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, government stakeholders, industry partners, and subcontractors.
• Lead solution development with BD, operations, technical, pricing, and finance teams to create proposals.
• Support staffing strategies and identify key personnel for pursuits.
• Develop pricing strategies and ensure compliant, competitive proposals.
• Lead customer engagement, outreach, and marketing to strengthen opportunity positioning.
• Manage proposal preparation activities and review management.
• Facilitate blue team reviews and address actions.
• Perform other BD and corporate growth support activities.
