Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a Capture Manager to drive capture initiatives across Japan and support strategic growth for US Government contracts. You will lead capture plans, assemble cross-functional teams, coordinate kickoff and gate reviews, and ensure captures stay on schedule and aligned with objectives.

The role requires a BA/BS in Business or Engineering, with MBA or PMP preferred, and at least five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of five years of project management and/or business capture experience.
• Leadership experience in developing and executing capture activities and customer engagement strategies.
• Familiarity with US Government contracting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead all capture functions for assigned opportunities and oversee the win.
• Develop capture plans, schedules, and action items to keep opportunities on track.
• Form and lead cross-functional capture teams, conduct kickoff meetings, and oversee gate reviews.
• Gather market intelligence and inform capture strategies to improve win probability.
• Lead solution development with BD, operations, technical, pricing, and finance teams.
• Support staffing strategies and pricing for compliant, competitive proposals.
• Develop customer engagement and targeted marketing to strengthen positioning.
• Manage proposal preparation activities and review management.
