Westhab, Inc. is seeking an IT Technician in the Bronx to install, troubleshoot, and service network hardware and software. You will support staff in day-to-day computer usage and maintain IT systems across multiple sites.

The role requires an Associate's degree in a related field and at least two years of experience in computer/network support, with strong Windows and Office skills and basic networking know-how. A driver’s license and reliable car are required for site visits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in CS or technical field.
• At least two years of computer and network support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office; basic networking understood.

Responsabilités

• Record IT requests via phone/email into the ticket system and track status.
• Open/follow up/log repair tickets with providers for voice/Internet/TV services.
• Support hardware, including PCs, printers, scanners, network gear and cameras; upgrade as needed.
• Maintain desktop software/OS; assist with installation and upgrades.
• Set up new network and computer equipment per standards; provide on-site or remote support.
• Coordinate with vendors and outside consultants as necessary.
