Job summary

Brightway Living & Learning is seeking an on-site IT Support Specialist to serve Long Island locations. You will resolve hardware and software issues, set up devices, printers, and mobile gear, and provide user training when needed.

You'll work with Active Directory and Exchange, maintain documentation, and collaborate with vendors for complex problems. A valid NY driver’s license is required for travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of end-user support or help desk experience.
• Experience with ticket systems and asset inventories preferred.
• Ability to image, install and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite, phone and email support for hardware and software.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and mobiles.
• Administer Active Directory and email accounts.
• Document issues and create knowledge base materials.
• Assist with hardware upgrades and moves across locations.
• Maintain security procedures and stay current with tech changes.
