Job summary

ProTech IT Solutions, a New Charter Technologies Company, is seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our White Plains, NY team. The successful candidate will provide on-site and remote support for Westchester County and NYC clients, manage Windows Server environments, Office 365, and network configurations, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of networking and system administration.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable commute to White Plains, NY or willingness to relocate.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote and on-site technical support to clients with professionalism and urgency.
• Proactively monitor and maintain client systems to prevent downtime and improve performance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments and Windows 10 workstations.
• Administer Office 365 environments including user management and email configurations.
• Configure and support network protocols such as TCP/IP and ensure secure connectivity.
• Utilize RMM tools (e.g., ConnectWise) for system monitoring and management.
• Assist in cloud infrastructure support including Azure and AWS environments.
• Document technical procedures and client interactions in ticketing systems.
• Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff and delegating tasks effectively.
