Job summary
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects, seeks a full-time IT Support Technician to provide Tier I help desk support in El Paso, TX with opportunities in Las Cruces, NM or Kansas City, MO.
The ideal candidate will assist engineers, designers, and project teams by maintaining stable workstations, reliable connectivity, and quick issue resolution, including Windows 11, Intune imaging, AD management, and remote desktop support.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years supporting Windows desktop OS, Office 365, and Teams.
- Imaging and deploying PCs via Microsoft Intune (Autopilot a plus).
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and apps; patch management.
- AD account management, password resets, DNS, DHCP, MFA support.
- Support for email, printers, wired/wireless networks, and Teams video.
- Remote Desktop tools and mobile device support (iPhone, Android).
- License management for design apps (Autodesk, Bentley, Esri); basic GIS.
- Experience with Civil 3D, Revit, AutoCAD, or BIM tools preferred.
- Strong cybersecurity awareness and excellent documentation habits.
- Understanding SLA targets and Tier 2/3 escalation.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier I help desk support to engineers, architects, and staff.
- Maintain stable workstations, connectivity, and quick issue resolution.
- Imaging and deploying PCs, applying updates, and tracking assets.
- Assist with AD, DNS/DHCP, and MFA-related tasks as needed.
