Job summary

Design Ready Controls is seeking an IT Technician in Richmond to install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks across the organization. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, support end users, and help ensure secure, high-performing IT infrastructure while training staff on best practices.

This hands-on role emphasizes proactive problem solving and clear communication with both technical and non-technical users.

Qualifications

• Diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with computers and peripherals.
• Check and install hardware to ensure functionality.
• Install and configure software per specifications.
• Assist with security and privacy of networks and systems.
• Perform scheduled upgrades and maintenance without disrupting others.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems.
• Maintain records/logs of repairs and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
